WELCOME

Hi Everyone, welcome to f-stop sports blog.  I would love to use my blog to share ideas of what works and what doesn’t.  I’ve spent the last 6 years traveling up and down the island taking pictures inside hockey rinks with bad lighting.  It took thousands of pic’s and a WHOLE lot of money in gear to figure it out!!!  I started with a little Nikon D50 with a Sigma 18-200mm lens.  A couple of years later I upgraded to a Nikon D300 with a Nikon 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 dx.  Then one year later I upgraded again to a 70-200mm f2.8 my pics started to get a lot better.  I still needed to learn more and more, so I started taking courses to increase my knowledge.  Suddenly I was being asked to come to all sorts of events from hockey to baseball!!!  Six years later,  I started this company, and shoot all sporting events, tournaments, and anything in between.  I am really pleased with the newest member of my family, my Nikon D3S, WOW!!!!….a full and cropped frame. So with a teleconverter 1.7x  my 70-200mm f2.8, a 300mm f2.8 a 24-70mm f2.8 and 14-24mm f2.8.  With this combination it has opened a whole new door for me with lots of options!!  I think of photography like practicing medicine….there is ALWAYS more to learn!!  So, please share your thoughts and ideas as well as criticism’s so we can all learn more of this amazing world of photography together.

Thank’s for reading,  Cheers Scott
